SEO & Performance Optimization

Technical SEO, Core Web Vitals and content structure — the unglamorous work that decides whether anyone finds you.

What this covers

Ranking is earned by being crawlable, fast and genuinely more useful than the page above you. We handle the first two completely, and give you a content structure for the third. No purchased links, no doorway pages, no reports full of vanity metrics — changes you can see in Search Console.

  • Core Web Vitals measured on real devices, not just a lab score
  • Structured data that earns rich results instead of triggering warnings
  • Prioritised by revenue impact, not by what is easiest to fix

Capabilities

The specifics, rather than the adjectives.

Technical SEO audit

Crawl analysis, index coverage, canonical and duplicate-URL handling, redirect chains, orphan pages, pagination, hreflang and XML sitemap correctness — each finding with a file-level fix.

Core Web Vitals

LCP, INP and CLS brought inside the thresholds Google publishes. Usually: image sizing and format, font loading, render-blocking resources, and long tasks in JavaScript.

Structured data

Organization, WebSite, SoftwareApplication, Service, FAQPage, BlogPosting and BreadcrumbList schema — validated, and kept in sync with what the page actually renders.

Keyword and content architecture

The high-intent terms worth targeting, mapped to specific URLs, with the internal linking that tells search engines which page is authoritative for which topic.

On-page implementation

Titles, meta descriptions, heading hierarchy, image alt text, descriptive anchor text and a genuine answer to search intent at the top of every page.

Measurement you can trust

Search Console and GA4 configured properly, rankings tracked against a baseline, and a monthly read-out that separates real gains from seasonality.

What you get

A concrete list of outputs. If something here is not relevant to your project, it comes out of the scope and the price — we would rather agree that in writing now.

  • Prioritised audit with each issue tied to a measurable impact
  • Index coverage and crawl-budget fixes
  • Core Web Vitals remediation on the highest-traffic templates first
  • Structured data implementation and Rich Results validation
  • Keyword-to-URL map for existing and new pages
  • Internal linking plan, including links from high-authority pages
  • Search Console and GA4 configuration with conversion events
  • Before/after report with Search Console evidence

How it runs

Five steps. You always know which one you are in.

  1. 01

    Baseline

We record where you actually stand: indexed pages, current rankings for the terms that matter, and real-user Core Web Vitals by template.

  2. 02

    Audit

Technical crawl, content review and competitor gap analysis. Every issue is scored by traffic or revenue impact.

  3. 03

    Fix

Implementation in the order that pays back fastest, shipped to staging first so a fix cannot become an outage.

  4. 04

    Verify

Re-crawl, re-measure, and confirm indexing in Search Console. Unverified fixes are not counted as done.

  5. 05

    Grow

Ongoing content and link-earning plans, prioritised against the keyword map rather than the topic of the week.

Stack

The platforms and frameworks we build, integrate and maintain on. We would rather work in a stack your team can hire for and hand over than pick whatever is interesting this year — and where an existing platform does the job better than custom code, we will say so.

  • Google Search Console
  • GA4
  • Screaming Frog
  • Lighthouse

FAQs

SEO & Performance Optimization — frequently asked questions

How long before SEO work shows results?

Technical fixes — indexing problems, redirect chains, crawl-blocking mistakes — can show movement in two to four weeks because you are removing an obstacle rather than earning a new signal. Content and authority growth typically takes three to six months to be clearly visible. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either targeting terms nobody searches or guessing.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does. What we commit to is the deliverable: the audit, the implementation, the measurement, and a clear account of what moved and why. Rankings are an outcome of a search engine we do not control.

Our site is brand new. Is SEO pointless for now?

The opposite. A new site is the cheapest moment to get URL structure, internal linking and structured data right, because there is nothing to migrate and no rankings to protect. Doing it now avoids the expensive re-platform later.

Our site scores badly on PageSpeed but feels fast to us. Why does it matter?

You are likely testing on a fast connection with a warm cache, which is the best case. Google measures the slowest realistic case: a mid-range Android on a patchy 4G connection. That same user is the one who abandons a page that takes six seconds to become usable.

Do you build backlinks?

We do not buy links or run private blog networks — those create a liability you eventually have to clean up. We identify the pages worth linking to internally, fix the technical reasons external sites struggle to cite you, and suggest genuine citation opportunities in your industry.
